I really don't NEED another website. Ha!
Decided to just play with another CMS (Content Management System) I used to use many years ago. It's called DRUPAL. There is a link to their website at the very bottom of this page.
They have a new version called DRUPAL CMS. It's a total new revision from the way building a Drupal site has been in the past. I started working in a "sandbox" web server environment on a Windows11 OS with a WSL Linux Ubuntu web server. If you understand that, great! Too complex to explain here.
However, you are reading this on a "live" web server running Joomla 5. Another CMS web site package. The "sandbox" Drupal was just a good private way (and place) to learn the basics of that CMS application.
I enjoy playing with a new website just for the experience. No lofty goals other than something for an old coot like me to test my skills.
Unfortunately, I am not highly impressed with the new Drupal CMS. I have it working in my "sandbox" environment well enough, but I don't want to "go live" with the "fussy" problems I have with it. I know Joomla very well and this is their latest and greatest version. It's a bit fussy too, but I get quickly past that.
Along with the 3D print and shop craft, I am an electronics and computer nerd. Been building web sites since they were invented. Ham Amateur Radio operator (W5EHS) for 57years. Maybe I'll post on those areas of expertise here as well.
